Wayuto Organisers

For event organisers

Your events, where people actually find them.

Wayuto brings together on one map the events and activities on nearby: concerts, shows, exhibitions, workshops, family outings… The service is available on the web and in the iOS and Android apps, in French and English.

The Wayuto map of Paris and its inner suburbs, filtered on one weekend: each marker shows how many events are at that spot, and the categories at the top (shows, family, exhibitions, concerts…) show their totals.

What Wayuto brings to your events

  • Visibility in the right place, at the right time

Your events appear on the map and in the list, at their place and on each event's dates, to people looking for an outing near a given spot.

  • Targeted presentation

Every event is sorted by type of outing (concert, show, workshop…) and by audience (kids, family, adults…).

  • Alerts for interested people

Visitors save the events they're interested in. They receive various notifications, such as a cancelled date, a reminder as the event approaches, or an event that is ending soon.

  • Exposure in plain sight

Wayuto is available in French and English, on the web, on iPhone and on Android.

Three ways to add your events

Choose the one that suits you. They can be combined.

You post on Instagram

Mention @wayuto_events

Add the mention to your post's caption. Wayuto extracts the date, the place and the practical details, and the event is published on the map once our team has checked it.

No form to fill in. To manage the event yourself afterwards, simply send a direct message to @wayuto_events: it will then be attached to your space.

You have a calendar on your website

Connect your calendar

Add it as a source from your space. Wayuto then consults it regularly and picks up your new events, with no retyping.

  • Supported formats: iCal (.ics), The Events Calendar (WordPress), schema.org-tagged pages
  • Check its compatibility in seconds: enter your calendar's address in the Sources section of your organiser space. Wayuto tells you immediately whether it can read it and shows a preview of the events found.

You keep only one calendar up to date: your own.

You prefer to enter them yourself

Publish directly

Sign up, fill in your organiser profile and publish your events from the website or the app.

  • Individual or organisation (association, company, local authority…)
  • Organisations checked against public registers (SIREN, RNA)

Every new source, and a new organiser's first events, are reviewed beforehand by our team, as are events received through Instagram. Publication is therefore not immediate the first few times.

Your events may already be there

Wayuto also lists events already published elsewhere: public event calendars, tourist offices, ticketing sites. Many of them are therefore already on the map, without any action from their organisers.

  • Public event calendars
  • Tourist offices
  • Ticketing sites
  • Instagram
  • Organisers' websites

Manage your next events yourself

With an organiser space, your next dates come directly from you, and you stay in control of them.

Are you in charge of a venue?

Concert hall, theatre, music café, gallery: if you run one or more venues, you can attach them to your organiser space and maintain their page on Wayuto yourself.

  • Simple to attach

If your verified Instagram account matches the venue's account, attaching it takes one click. Otherwise, you can submit a request from your space, with supporting documents; it will be reviewed by our team.

  • A venue page in your image

Photos, opening hours, prices, description and other practical information, in several languages, together with your contact details, social accounts and booking link.

  • A live preview

While you edit, a preview shows the page exactly as visitors will see it.

  • The venue's programme right on its page

Events held at your venue, published by you or by other organisers, show on its page automatically.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to type my events in again?

No, if you mention @wayuto_events on Instagram or connect your website's calendar. Entering them directly remains possible if you prefer.

My calendar is published on Wix, Squarespace or Facebook. Is it compatible?

Not directly. Wayuto reads iCal (.ics) feeds, The Events Calendar (WordPress) and schema.org-tagged pages: if your tool provides an iCal feed, add it as a source. Failing that, publish directly or go through Instagram.

How long does publication take?

A new source and a new organiser's first events are first reviewed by our team. After that, your new events are picked up each time your calendar is consulted, or as soon as you publish them if you enter them directly.

Why do I need an account?

So that only an event's organiser, or a website's owner, can publish in their name. The account also allows us to verify your website and your organisation.
